Lift Engineer Scheme Goes From Strength to Strength

The Garage Equipment Association's Vehicle Lift Engineer accreditation scheme is well into its 3rd year renewal stage.  There are currently around 300 accredited engineers and assessments are constantly fully booked.  The scheme, which involves an exam to test Garage Equipment engineers' competency when installing, inspecting, and maintaining vehicle lifts has proved extremely popular with GEA members and their customers.  Engineers receive a certificate and photo ID pass which confirms they have passed the accreditation scheme.

In a recent statement the GEA say they are very pleased that the HSE forum has publicised the accreditation scheme, which has led to most of the major Motor Groups mandating the scheme.  At Gott Technical Services we ensure our lift engineers are accredited.  For more information please call 01670 516816.
