The Weekly Roundup

Happy New Year! We are back to work and back with our pick of the news from across the automotive industry.

Research has been released this week that shows younger drivers are putting themselves at risk as they regularly skip servicing their cars, often to help save some money. However a story from the Telegraph says that insurance is set to rise for many young people this year – could this see more people skipping the important service?

The Department for Transport has also announced a consultation on motoring services – in short businesses can send their views on the services offered by organisations such as the Vehicle and Operator Services Agency until 7 March. Have your voice heard!
