The Weekly Roundup

In this week's top story, a real time comparison site for car servicing and MOTs is now live which lists over 10,000 independent, fast fit and franchised garages across the UK. Motorists can log onto the website, which works similarly to insurance comparison engines and last minute booking sites, enabling them to find a local garage for their servicing and MOTs.

In other news, do-it-yourself car repairs are becoming a “long-lost art” as drivers struggle to understand how to carry out simple repairs such as changing a headlamp or replacing a fan belt. Instead, motorists are paying millions of pounds each year for garages to do the work for them!
