As part of our 35th year celebrations we are continuing to encourage people to raise money for charity. Our team have got right behind this initiative and the latest activity has seen members of the office staff create and wear hats and hold an Alice in Wonderland style 'Mad Hatter's Tea Party' at our offices. This was all the idea of Mary-Alice who works in our accounts department who wanted to raise money for the brain injury association charity which is a cause close to her heart.
Today, Friday 22nd May, is the Hats for Headway day which is an initiative organised by the charity to raise awareness of the good work they do helping people to improve life after brain injury. The Hats for Headway day is a simple and fun way to raise money for Headway and involves holding a themed coffee morning or tea party where everybody must wear interesting headgear. We've had a great time here this morning and enjoyed loads of home made cakes.
