From October 1, smoking in cars carrying anyone under 18 will be illegal and punishable with a £50 fine. However, a new survey suggests that thousands of motorists will continue to put their children's health at risk by defying a new smoking ban.
They might be frustrating when full of lorries and drivers who don't understand some basic rules, but motorways also save us a lot of valuable time. Not only have they made cross-country journeys much quicker, but they have also helped the growth of road freight.
