We recently completed a workshop development project for our customer Mark's Garage in Wallyford, East Lothian and we were delighted to receive fantastic feedback from company owner Mark Anderson about his satisfaction with our work.
Mark's Garage is a family run garage, established for 11 years specialising in the servicing and repairs of Land Rovers and Range Rovers. Mark has extensive knowledge of the marque having worked on them since his apprenticeship in the RAF in 1988. Jude has worked in logistics, retail and management for over 30 years. The business has grown organically several times and recently has just moved premises into a much larger unit.
Several companies were asked to quote for the installation of a Class I,II,III and IV MOT bay with alignment, baseless two post symmetric lifts and new tyre changing equipment with a matching compressor but Mark had this to say about his buying decision:
"Gott Technical services were not the first choice as we were keen to keep the work local but it soon became apparent that the other suppliers were ignoring the brief and trying to sell us the equipment they had that might do the job. Gott on the other hand went out of their way to meet our specific need."
The plan changed several times due to unseen issues with the building and ground works, and at one stage the installation plans were completely re drawn from an MOT lift to an MOT pit!
"Throughout the whole process John Stainthorpe and his team were excellent, turning up on time, doing what they said they would do and completed the job in the agreed time. There were issues with the installation but this is where I think commissioning Gott to do the job was money well spent as no matter what the problem was it was resolved with the minimum of fuss and inconvenience."
As usual we supplied lifts from American lift manufacturer Rotary which are renowned for their exceptional levels of quality and reliability. The SPO40M model was selected due to it being the ideal lift for Land Rovers and Range Rovers. You can find out more about this lift here. Tyre equipment was from the innovative Technique range from Trade Garage Equipment and included the T2520PRO tyre changer and T2100-2 wheel balancer. Both pieces of equipment are suited to businesses that are serious about tyre fitting and wheelcare.
Mark went on to say:
"We could have bought cheaper equipment but our customers demand quality parts and good service from us so we need quality equipment and good service back up. We would not hesitate to recommend the services of Gott and would welcome anyone thinking of using them to visit our workshop to see their work."
We very much appreciate Mark's comments and wish him well with his newly expanded business. For more information about Mark's Garage visit www.marksgarage.co.uk.
