Helping to bring Christmas Cheer to the People of Morpeth

We are pleased to once again support the Rotary Club of Morpeth's Christmas Appeal by sponsoring their 'Tree of Light'.  This is the fourth year that the Rotary Club has worked alongside the Sanderson Arcade in the busy market town of Morpeth, where our business is located, who generously provide this beautiful tree.   The tree stands alongside the Rotary Club's Garden of Light where you can light a candle for a loved one.  People are encouraged to leave a message in a Book of Memories situated beside the tree and the messages are then also printed and hung on the tree.   These messages can be to acknowledge loved ones that are no longer with us but they can also be to celebrate happy events such as to mark a wedding anniversary, a special birthday or a treasured friendship.

To participate in sharing special messages, a donation must be made and the money raised goes to this years chosen charities which are Henry Dancer Days, Cleaswell Hill School, and MIND.

We are delighted to have supported this special event every year since its inception by providing sponsorship to assist with the funds required to cover the costs of running it for the festive period.  The launch was this Saturday 17th November with the arcade's Christmas lights and the Tree of Light being illuminated.  This was coordinated with the town's main Christmas lights switch on which included live entertainment, street theatre, and a Christmas market.

Our MD Ian Gott attended the launch with his family and he says he had a great time, and was so proud that our company had supported it.

"I am sure that these charities will benefit greatly from the generous nature of the people of Morpeth and the hard work of the Rotarians who help to run the Tree of Light and Garden of Light, just as they have done in previous years." - Ian Gott.
