We are proud to once again sponsor the Rotary Club of Morpeth's Tree of Light and Remembrance Garden, in this it's 11th year. Over the years the fabulous tree and garden in Morpeth's Sanderson Arcade has raised over £30,000.00 for worthwhile charities, whilst also providing a must-see festive spectacle! The epically proportioned tree is beautifully festooned with baubles and lights and this year has the addition of large angel wings that people can pose in front of for photographs.

Morpeth Rotary Club Tree of Light and Garden of Remembrance 2025

Morpeth's Christmas lights switch on event was held this weekend and our MD Ian Gott and some of his family popped along on Sunday to to take in the scene.

Gott Technical Services Managing Director Ian Gott & Wife Nickie.

"I always look forward to this weekend" said Ian Gott. "Each year I tend to feel I'm not quite ready to start celebrating Christmas in November, but when you see the Tree of Light and Morpeth's other illuminations and displays, before you know it you have a hot cup of mulled wine in your hand!"

Ian went on to say how each year how supporting the Tree of Light goes without question as it is great to support something in the community, and it raises a great deal of money for local charities.

This year the charities that will be supported by the fund-raising generated by the Tree and Garden of Remembrance are:

Barnabas Safe and Sound

RNLI Newbiggin

Dransfield Foundation

And finally, a huge well done to the Rotary Club of Morpeth, and the Chair of The Tree of Light, Rhona Dunn, for all their hard work in making this happen.
